Government adopts HAMAG-BICRO guarantee scheme

At it session on Wednesday, the government adopted a programme of the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) as part of which the agency would start issuing guarantee schemes to loan issuers to cover part of the capital amount of loans issued to small entrepreneurs.

Government adopts HAMAG-BICRO guarantee scheme
The guarantees will be issued in the amount of up to half a million kuna which will be able to cover between 10% and 80% of the loan. One entrepreneur can receive no more than 30 % of the total amount of the guarantee scheme.
 
This project is aimed at using the investment potential through the banking channel which would significantly facilitate access to finances for small entrepreneurs and reduce their operational costs.
