Government facilitates construction of golf courses and camping sites

The government forwarded to parliament from its session on Thursday amendments to the law on forests which facilitates business activities, notably the construction of golf courses and camping sites.

Under the government-sponsored bill, forests and forest land declared as building sites by the zoning plan will be separated from Croatia's forest belt with the day the zoning plan enters into effect.

The bill also regulates the possibility of constructing golf courses and camping sites which the zoning plan envisages in forests and forest land, without those areas being included in the building areas and remaining in the state forest area.
