Government moves to integrate optical infrastructure
The government decided on Thursday to integrate the optical infrastructure that is now scattered in seven state-owned companies into a new generation optical network that would bring broadband Internet access to all areas of Croatia.
- 17.01.2013.
Minister Sinisa Hajdas Doncic said that the purpose of the project was to ensure that all people had new-generation broadband Internet access, given that private operators invest only in most populated parts of the country including large towns, which covers only about 30% of the population.
The project will be elaborated within three months.
