Italian PM congratulates Croatia on EU entry
Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic in Brussels on Thursday held talks with Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta who welcomed Croatia to the European Union and stressed that at the celebration of Croatia's EU entry in Zagreb on June 30, Italy would be represented by President Giorgio Napolitano and Foreign Minister Emma Bonino which, according to a statement issued by the Croatian government, is a sign of great support to Croatia.

Milanovic underscored that cooperation between these three neighbours was natural and that joint initiatives, the exchange of opinions, positions and ideas would additionally strengthen mutual relations. He thanked Italy for the support it showed to Croatia in the process of joining the European Union, the statement said.
