25 new and remodelled hotels to open in the Adriatic this summer

Approximately 25 new or completely remodelled hotels will be opened in the Adriatic ahead or during the summer, the most in the last decade or so. This investment worth over one billion kuna.

With these hotels, Croatia's tourist sector will get several thousand new high-quality beds, which will improve the image of the country's hotel business.

The most expensive investment is Isabella Island Resort, owned by Valamar Riviera, which is scheduled to open next week at the Sveti Nikola islet near the northern Adriatic town of Porec. The HRK 250 million is also the biggest project of the Valamar Riviera Group.

"The large number of newly opened hotels this summer is also the result of two-year investment cycle in the sector which is now nearing the end," Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin told Hina.
