Croatia's Adriatic coast remains orange and the continental part of the country green on the updated map of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), which Health Minister Vili Beroš said gives reason for cautious optimism as well as obligation

"The new ECDC map gives reason for cautious optimism, as well as obligation. Croatia remains the safest destination in the Mediterranean, but the path to the safe zone is easier than keeping that status," Beroš wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

"Let's get vaccinated and observe the restrictions for the benefit of our citizens and visitors to Croatia," he said.
