Croatia and Poland continue close cooperation within the EU and NATO

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković met with President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

Prime Minister Plenković stressed the importance of continuing the partnership and close cooperation between Croatia and Poland within the EU and NATO, taking into account the complex geopolitical circumstances.
 
He informed the Polish President about the positive economic developments in Croatia, and they also discussed strengthening cooperation in energy, tourism and defense.
 
Plenković and Duda exchanged views on current global challenges, transatlantic relations between the EU and the US, the importance of further support for Ukraine and achieving a just and sustainable peace, as well as on the situation in Southeast Europe.
 
Special emphasis was placed on the Three Seas Initiative, whose chairmanship in its tenth anniversary year will be taken over by Croatia, after Poland.
