Croatia's GDP jumps 1.2% in Q2

Croatia's Gross Domestic Product increased 1.2%, in the second quarter of 2015 compared to the corresponding period in 2014, according to preliminary figures provided by the Central Bureau for Statistics (DZS), and this rise is higher than in Q1 and also much higher than expected by analysts.

Eight economic analysts, polled recently by Hina, have forecast +0.7% on the average.
 
Q2 2015 is the third consecutive quarter with a positive growth in Croatia, which means that the country has emerged from the recession. This increase has accelerated compared to +0.5% in Q1 2015.
 
The country's GDP in Q2 2015 increased by 0.7% from Q1 2015 and by 1.4% from Q2 2014, according to seasonally adjusted figures.
