Croatia's unemployment rate for July 15.9 pct
The registered unemployment rate in Croatia fell for the fifth straight month in July, by 0.2 percentage points from June to 15.9 percent, which was the lowest rate in nearly six years, the statistical office said on Monday.
A lower unemployment rate was last recorded in October 2009, when it was 15.6%.
In June 2015, the unemployment rate was 16.1%. In July 2014, it was 17.7%.
At the end of this, 257,994 job-seekers were registered with the Croatian Employment Service, down 0.8% on the month and 12.9% on the year.
