Croatia to reopen maritime border crossing points

Considering the favourable epidemiological situation in the country, the Croatian government on Wednesday decided to reopen maritime border crossing points for international transport of passengers that had been temporarily closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Terezija Gras, state secretary at the Ministry of the Interior, informed the government of the activities of the national coronavirus crisis management team.

She sad that 200,000 people had announced their visit to Croatia using an online form on the ministry's website. Of those, 70,000 are tourists, mostly from Slovenia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Germany.
