Croatian government condemns glorification of Ustasha regime

The Croatian government condemns in the strongest terms and holds completely unacceptable any form of the glorification of the Ustasha regime and the justification of its crimes.

The government had already on several occasions clearly condemned the Ustasha regime and crimes committed in the name of that regime.

Imposing false thesis about the Ustashaisation of the society and unacceptable statements by individuals are part of a larger campaign aimed at causing new divisions in the society and preventing the implementation of reforms and the programme of the new government," the statement said, adding that the government is determined to implement reforms which are the only way out of the crisis.

The government will do everything in its power to have Croatia, as a member of the European Union, develop in the spirit of tolerance.

The government will implement its programme and objective and do everything to keep young people from leaving the country and create new jobs.
