Croatian minister says intensified border control due to attack on police station in BiH

Croatian Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic has told Hina that immediately after receiving information regarding the attack on the police station in Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian Police Chief Vlado Domincic ordered a heavy police procedure along the entire Croatian Border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Particularly intensified are the surveillance measures along the state border, border control, the control of persons, luggage and vehicles and other measures are also being taken to prevent possible threats," Minister Ostojic said on Tuesday,

One police officer was killed and two were wounded in the attack on the police station in Zvornik, northeastern Bosnia, carried out on Monday evening by 24-year-old Nerdin Ibric. The gunman was killed during his shooting spree.
