Croatian PM, British foreign secretary discuss bilateral relations

Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic on Friday held talks with British Foreign Secretary William Hague about the promotion of the two countries' political and economic relations in light of Croatia's EU entry.

Milanovic and Hague, who is on his first official visit to Croatia, talked about the promotion of bilateral relations, in light of Croatia's EU admission, saying that the Croatian-British area of cooperation was broadening.

They tackled the need to increase trade and investments. The two officials also talked about tourism, given the large number of British tourists visiting Croatia.

Milanovic and Hague also addressed the situation in Southeast Europe. Hague underlined Croatia's role as the leader in the region.
