Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Thursday extended his condolences to Macedonian counterpart Zoran Zaev over the deadly bus crash in North Macedonia on Wednesday night that killed at least 13 people and injured dozens more.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic road accident with a large number of fatalities on the Skopje-Tetovo highway," Plenkovic said, expressing solidarity with the people and the government of North Macedonia.

The bus overturned after plunging 10 meters down a ravine near a highway between Skopje and the town of Tetovo.
