Croatian Prime Minister receives Finnish Foreign Minister
ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb met in Zagreb on Thursday to discuss Croatian-Finnish bilateral relations and Croatia's European Union aspirations.
Stubb said that Finland fully supported Croatia's EU membership bid, adding that Croatia was playing an important role in the establishment of stability in the region.
Kosor thanked Finland for its support to Croatia's efforts to join the European bloc, and reiterated her government's commitment to doing its part of the job regarding Croatia's integration into the EU.
She spoke about great possibilities for developing economic cooperation between her country and Finland.
The two officials also discussed the situation in southeast Europe.
Kosor highlighted Croatia's commitment to assisting its neighbours on their Euro-Atlantic road. In this context she recalled that Croatia had recently decided to give its translation of the acquis communautaire to its neighbours.
The Croatian premier also pointed out Croatia's support to preserving a single and sovereign Bosnia-Herzegovina as the country of three constituent and equal peoples.
