Croatian Prime Minister Sanader meets his Dutch counterpart and Bono Vox

NEW YORK, Sept 26 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Thursday met Dutch Prime Minister Jan Pieter Balkenende and humanitarian and musician Bono Vox at the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

PM Sanader and Balkenende discussed bilateral relations and Croatia's EU entry talks.

The Dutch prime minister supported Croatia's admission to the EU and invited Sanader to pay a visit to the Netherlands, which Sanader accepted, Croatian government spokesman Zlatko Mehun said.

Sanader also met with musician Bono Vox at a round table discussion on education and health, held as part of a summit on the UN Millennium Development Goals.

The PM invited the front man of the rock band U2 to visit Croatia and become acquainted with the work of social and humanitarian organisations in the country.
