Croatian, Slovene prime minister hold talks on phone

ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader from New York on Monday held talks on the telephone with Slovene Prime Minister Borut Pahor about the current state of affairs concerning Croatia's EU entry talks.

PM Sanader reiterated that Croatia was not prejudging the solving of the border dispute with Slovenia in any of the documents from the negotiating process.

The two PMs agreed to have Croatian and Slovene diplomats continue harmonising positions concerning the border issue. Both Sanader and Pahor welcome and appreciate efforts which the French Presidency of the EU invested into finding a solution to the Croatian-Slovene border dispute.

I expect Slovenia to support Croatia and to do everything possible for Croatia to wrap up its EU entry talks as soon as possible, Sanader told reporters in New York.
