Deputy PM Uzelac meets Vollebaek

ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Slobodan Uzelac on Tuesday met OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities Knut Vollebaek to discuss the position of national minorities in Croatia and the country's regional development, the government's public relations office said in a statement.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the OSCE Office in Croatia, Ambassador Jorge Fuentes Monzonis-Vilallonga.

The talks also focused on the platform and prospects for successful reconstruction of return areas, the return of refugees and their housing, the statement said, adding that Uzelac also informed Vollebaek of the government activities concerning these issues.
