Exhibition of photographs with motifs of Zagreb earthquake opens

An exhibition of photographs with motifs of the Zagreb earthquake titled "Zagreb -- A City That Needs Our Love" opened on Thursday afternoon in the European Square in Zagreb.

The theme of the exhibition is the earthquake that hit Zagreb on March 22 at 6.24 am in the photographs taken by the Cropix photo service, and it will feature 34 enlarged photos taken by fifteen Cropix's photojournalists.

There are six thematic chapters -- Shock, Debris, Heritage, Cathedral, Thank You and Chin Up.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic spoke at the exhibition opening, underscoring that the law on the reconstruction of Zagreb was thoroughly prepared.

Everyone has made their contribution and we firmly stand by the fact that this is a joint project of everyone who wants to contribute to the new vision of the City, he underscored, adding that a task of this project is to increase earthquake protection.
