Government adopts decisions at closed session

At the closed section of the cabinet meeting on Thursday, the government authorised Croatia's representative before the European Court of Human Rights to propose unilateral recognition of the violation of the right to a fair trial.

Pursuant to Article 39, Item 2 of the Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, the procedure is classified and details are confidential and cannot be reported in its entirety.
The government adopted the overview of legislative and sub-legislative proposals by which Croatia takes on European Union acquis communautaire for 2012. These are regular reports on the process of taking on EU legal acquis and the documents have been released in full on the government's web site at www.vlada.hr.
The government also relieved assistant veterans' minister Dinko Mikulic of hist duty, effective as of 29 December 2012. Mikulic is suspected of bribe taking.
