Government, UNICEF sign agreement on cooperation until 2011

ZAGREB, July 14 (Hina) - The plan of programme activities until 2011, which the government has signed with UNICEF today, is the continuation of their years-long excellent cooperation, Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Monday.

She signed the plan with the chief of UNICEF Croatia, Tanja Radocaj, saying that Croatia transformed from a country which received aid to one which provided it, as in the recent drive for the children of Myanmar after the cyclone Nargis.

Radocaj said that more than HRK 1 million was collected in that drive, twice than originally planned for children outside Croatia.
