The Infobip company's IT business campus Pangea, extending over 17,000 square metres and built on the model of state-of-the-art IT and university organisations, was inaugurated in Vodnjan, Istria County on Saturday.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said Infobip had grown into a business incubator with over 1,200 employees and 50 offices in 47 countries, and that it proved that Croatia had the talent, the resourcefulness and the excellence necessary to compete on the global digital and information technology market.

He said Infobip was as important to Istria County as the Adris tourism and insurance group and the Uljanik shipyard, and that it was an incentive to young experts in this field, the education system and the government to invest in new incubators and create a new environment for those wishing to invest in IT.

Also attending the inauguration were Parliament Deputy Speaker Furio Radin, many other officials and ambassadors accredited in Croatia.
