Milanovic talks to leaders of veterans' protest

Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic on Friday greeted organisers of veterans' protest in Zagreb, Djuro Glogoski and Josip Klemm, and other veterans attending a ceremony in tribute to soldiers and policemen killed in a military offensive 20 years ago.

After a commemoration marking the 20th anniversary of Operation Flash, which ended a Serb armed rebellion in Western Slavonia, Milanovic approached the veterans to greet them. During a 10-minute conversation, the veterans presented their problems and the reasons why they were protesting outside the Veterans' Affairs Ministry building in Zagreb.

The veterans proposed that Milanovic invite them for a meeting on their problems and rights, which they believe are denied to them.
