Motion to amend law on allowance for disabled children by autumn

Representatives of the "Let's help children with disabilities" civil initiative and Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic have agreed that the government will send to parliament by the autumn a motion to amend the law on children's allowance to increase the allowance for children with serious disabilities, the government said on Friday.

It was also agreed to include the initiative's members in the preparation of a bill on an inclusive allowance for disabled persons to provide them with equal opportunities in social life.

The inclusion of the initiative's members in the government's commission for disabled persons was also considered.
