Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković held bilateral meetings in Davos with, among others, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Bosnia and Herzegovina Prime Minister Borjana Krišto, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann.

The meetings were held on the margins of the World Economic Forum.

Plenković said on X that he and Vučić "discussed bilateral relations and the situation in Serbia after the elections".

In a post on the meeting with Krišto, Plenković said that next week he would visit Bosnia and Herzegovina together with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Plenković and Kurti discussed "the situation in the neighbourhood", with Plenković congratulating his Kosovo counterpart on Kosovo having been allowed visa-free travel to the EU, and expressing also support for Kosovo's membership of the Council of Europe and its EU journey.

The Croatian prime minister also met with Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean, congratulating him on the EU's having opened accession talks with his country and saying that Croatia is ready to share its experience from the pre-accession process.

The meeting with OECD Secretary-General Cormann focused on the course of Croatia's negotiations on OECD membership. "The process should be completed in the first months of 2026," said Plenković, who also met with Commissioners Dubravka Šuica, Valdis Dombrovskis and Stella Kyriakides, as well as a number of representatives of large international companies such as AstraZeneca, Meta, Goldman Sachs, Coinbase, and Visa.
