PM and president talk on the phone about election date

Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic on Tuesday talked by telephone with President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on her own initiative, the government's press service said in a statement.

The president asked the prime minister which date suited him for parliamentary elections, to which he reiterated that a date of parliamentary elections could not be the subject of consultations and that it must be decided by the president in accordance with the law and constitution, according to the statement.
