PM extends condolences over Germanwings plane crash
Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic on Tuesday sent letters of condolences to their respective German counterparts -- President Joachim Gauck and Chancellor Angela Merkel -- on the death of 144 passengers and six crew members in a crash of an Airbus in a remote area of the French Alps earlier on Tuesday. The plane was operated by Lufthansa's Germanwings budget airline. Germanwings confirmed its flight 4U 9525 from Barcelona to Duesseldorf went down with 144 passengers and six crew on board. Milanovic also extended condolences to Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy Brey.
