PM lays wreaths at Zagreb's central cemetery on Independence Day

Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic on Thursday laid wreaths and lit candles at Zagreb's central Mirogoj cemetery, on the occasion of Independence Day.

Milanovic was accompanied by Veterans Minister Predrag Matic.

The delegation laid wreaths at the Wall of Pain, the Central Cross at the Alley of Veterans Killed in the Homeland War, at the graves of former Social Democrat (SDP) prime minister Ivica Racan and the Croatia's first president Franjo Tudjman. They also laid a wreath at the grave of unidentified victims of the Homeland War.
