PM praises entrepreneurs as pillar of Croatian economy

Addressing an award-giving ceremony for best micro businesses, SMEs, cooperatives and businesswomen in Zadar on Friday evening, Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic said that entrepreneurs were a pillar of the Croatian economy.

You are those who create jobs, pay contributions and make it possible for the country to be a welfare state... You are those who change the society, Milanovic said at the ceremony which was held within the 19th national consultations on the economy and entrepreneurship, which the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts organised in Zadar on 17-18 April.

At the present times, entrepreneurs are perceived as a wonder, as those people have the pluck and are risk-loving, they take initiative, the premier said.

Those who enable us to have decent pay for decent work deserve our respect, he added said.
