Prime Minister Kosor congratulates Obama on Nobel Peace Prize

ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Friday congratulated US President Barack Obama on winning the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

PM Kosor underlined that with Obama, "effective multilateral diplomacy and cooperation has once again become central to international policy, with an emphasis on the United Nations and other international institutions."

In her note to Obama, Kosor said that Croatia, "as a NATO member, is looking forward to the continuation of our cooperation in the promotion and protection of common values -- freedom, democracy and peace".
