Prime Minister Kosor meets Polish Prime Minister in Dubrovnik

ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - After the inaugural part of the traditional Croatia Summit in Dubrovnik on Friday evening, Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor met Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk for talks on the prospective completion of Croatia's European Union accession negotiations.

Kosor thanked the Polish people and government for their support to Croatia's efforts to become the 28th member of the European Union.

"We expect the largest part of the job to be over by the end of this year," Kosor said at the talks with her Polish counterpart, recalling that Zagreb had all negotiating areas opened and a majority of them provisionally closed.

Tursk reaffirmed his country's strong support to Croatia.

The two premiers called for stronger economic cooperation between their countries, notably in tourism.
