Prime Minister meets Bulgarian president

ZAGREB, March 21 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Monday met Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov at the government.

Kosor thanked Parvanov for the support Bulgaria had been extending to Croatia throughout the accession negotiations with the European Union and especially now, in the final stage.

Parvanov said Bulgaria would push for the completion of the negotiations in June, adding his country would be among the first to ratify Croatia's accession treaty.

The two officials also discussed the judiciary and reforms. Parvanov was especially interested in Croatia's law on the prevention of conflict of interest and the fight against corruption.

He said Croatia would continue to have the support of the Bulgarian people.
