Prime Minister Milanovic meets with South Korean parliament speaker

Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic met in Zagreb on Tuesday with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Chung Ui-hwa, during his official visit to Croatia, the Croatian government's press service said in a statement

They underlined the need to further strengthen bilateral relations and promote economic cooperation and investments. Special emphasis was placed on cooperation in tourism given that 260,000 South Korean tourists had visited Croatia last year and this year their number was expected to exceed 300,000.

Milanovic and Chung agreed that a planned direct flight service between Croatia and the Republic of Korea would additionally encourage South Korean tourists to visit Croatia and would help strengthen overall economic relations between the two countries, according to the statement.
