Prime Minister Oreskovic to attend EU summit, meet EU leaders

The leaders of the European Union's 28 member states, including Croatian Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic, will convene for a summit on Thursday and Friday to discuss a draft agreement with Great Britain and the migrant crisis.

Oreskovic is arriving in Brussels on Wednesday to attend a working dinner which will discuss the western Balkan migrant route. The dinner is organised by European Council President Donald Tusk and will be attended by European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Slovenian PM Miro Cerar and Presidents Tomislav Nikolic of Serbia and Gjorge Ivanov of Macedonia.

On Thursday, before the summit, Oreskovic will hold bilateral meetings with Tusk, Juncker and European Parliament President Martin Schulz, as well as attend a meeting of the leaders of Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which make up the Visegrad Group, at which Slovenia will also participate.
 
On Thursday, the summit will discuss a draft agreement with Great Britain, so that it stays in the EU, and the migrant crisis.
 
On Friday, there will be an informal working breakfast at which the EU28 leaders will again discuss the deal with Great Britain.
