As part of his two-day visit to Split-Dalmatia County, Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic on Friday visited Dugopolje where a county tourist information centre will be built, congratulating County Prefect Zlatko Zevrnja on the results achieved by the Dugopolje enterprise zone.

The Prime Minister was greeted by Prefect Zevrnja and local government officials. Oreskovic did not address the press but only briefly said this was not his first time in Dugopolje.

The Dugopolje enterprise zone is worth ten billion kuna, Prefect Zevrnja said and briefed the prime minister on the planned construction in the zone. The future tourist information centre of Split-Dalmatia County, worth HRK 9.5 million, will be built beneath the west-side stands of the Hrvatski Vitezovi Stadium, he said.

Oreskovic congratulated the local officials on the their effort invested in the construction of the zone and on the results the zone was recording.

"This shows that without a vision nothing can be done. There was nothing here before, a desert, and look what has become of it today. Nothing can be done without a vision, but also without the people and their effort. I congratulate you and your team on everything," Oreskovic told Zevrnja.
