Prime Minister receives Italian official

ZAGREB, Oct 12 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Monday held talks with Italian Economic Development Deputy Minister Adolfo Urso on the strengthening of the economic cooperation as well as on cooperation in science, culture, and education.

Kosor thanked Urso for the Italian support to Croatia's efforts to join the European Union, according to a press release from the Croatian government.

Urso said he appreciated the Croatian government's efforts in foreign affairs reiterating Rome's backing to Croatia's EU aspirations.

The two officials voiced satisfaction with an increase in the number of Italians vacationing in Croatia this year.
