Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic extends condolences to the family of the deceased Dedic

Arsen Dedic, a prominent Croatian composer, singer, poet and translator, died at a hospital in Zagreb on Monday at the age of 77, the hospital sources reported.

Dedic, famous poet and composer, who was also the author of several film soundtracks and composed music for plays, received the Italian award " Premio Tenco " in San Remo and the European award "Prix Jacques Brel" as well as several Croatian awards.

He collaborated with Sergio Endrigo, Gino Paoli and Bulat Okudzhava.

The songs and poems of Arsen Dedic have been translated into several languages.
