On Independence Day, we remember the historic decision of the Croatian Parliament on June 25, 1991 to start the process of separating Croatia from the other republics within the SFRY.

Proud of all our achievements, we continue to build an even more developed and organized Croatia, for the benefit of all citizens.
 
We will always be grateful to the first president Franjo Tuđman and all the Croatian veterans who made the greatest sacrifice for the freedom and independence of Croatia.
