Regional development ministry co-funds energy renovation of hospital and schools in Zadar County

Minister for Regional Development and EU Funds Marko Pavic, in the coastal city of Zadar on Monday, signed ten agreements on co-funding the energy renovation of five buildings of the psychiatric hospital on the island of Ugljan and the primary schools in Skabrnja and Gracac, worth HRK 11 million in total.

"Zadar County is very successful in absorbing EU funding. Agreements worth over HRK 2.4 billion have been signed so far, of which HRK 1.4 billion relates to the City of Zadar. Apart from €10.8 billion from the European envelope, and this government has signed agreements for 76% of this amount, we have an additional HRK 300 million available annually for financing European projects," Pavic said during the signing ceremony.

"These are the first agreements that we are signing," Pavic said.

On Tuesday, the minister is due to sign as many 17 energy renovation agreements in Sibenik and another seven in Benkovac. After that similar agreements will be signed elsewhere in the country.
