Support to neighboring and friendly Bosnia and Herzegovina on the European path

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and the chairperson of the Council of Ministers Bojana Krišto in Sarajevo confirmed good and friendly relations between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Plenković highlighted the support for BIH's European path, and Krišto assessed Croatia's help and support as immeasurable.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković was on a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The visit began in Sarajevo, where he met with the Chairperson of the Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto.
 
The Prime Minister congratulated the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the current coalition on the highly visible progress in the functionality of the country in the past almost one year. He expressed satisfaction that Bosnia and Herzegovina is showing its institutional stability and thus strengthening its credibility on the European path.
 
As the most important message of his visit to Sarajevo today, Prime Minister Plenković singled out support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path.
 
During his stay in Sarajevo, Prime Minister Plenković also met with representatives of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the BIH Parliamentary Assembly.
 
They discussed the need for urgent adoption of additional laws in order to open the accession negotiations of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the European Union as soon as possible.
 
"I also emphasized the importance of a political agreement on the Election Law," Plenković announced on the X platform.
 
Prime Minister Plenković's working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina ended with a tour of Fojnica and Kiseljak, where he participated in the laying of the foundation stone for a primary school and the opening of the Caritas pastoral and social centre, which are projects co-financed by Croatia.
