The potential of cooperation with the USA in IT, healthcare, metal and food industry

At the conference of the Association of Croatian-American Professionals, Prime Minister Plenković emphasized the importance of partnership and alliance between the USA and Croatia. The President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Luka Burilović, said that the greatest potential for cooperation between Croatia and the USA is in the IT and high technology sectors, healthcare, and in the metal and food industry.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković attended the opening of the conference of the Association of Croatian-American Professionals (ACAP) "Connecting the Doers: Taking Croatia to the Next Level". The conference brought together representatives of the Croatian-American business and academic community with the aim of exchanging knowledge and connecting business partners, investors and clients.
 
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of partnership and alliance between the USA and Croatia, which, in addition to the political, have been intensifying in recent years in the economic sense as well.
 
He also reminded of the excellent position of the Croatian community in American society, which is not only well integrated, but has also created a respectable influence in all social spheres.
 
An increase in investment from the USA is expected
 
"The biggest potentials for cooperation between Croatia and the USA are in the IT and high-tech sectors, healthcare, and in the metal and food industry," said the president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), Luka Burilović.
 
He reminded that in recent years the partnership between Croatia and the USA has been strengthened by the abolition of visas for the USA for holders of Croatian passports, as well as by the signing of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement.
 
He also stated that an increase in investments from the USA is expected, now that Croatia has become an integral part of the Western world by joining the Eurozone and Schengen.
