Unemployment rate in September at 16.2 pct
The registered unemployment rate in Croatia was at 16.2% in September, up 0.3 percentage points from August, the national statistical office said Friday.
Compared to September 2014 when the registered unemployment rate amounted to 17.7%, this September the rate went down by 1.5 percentage points.
At the moment, there are 272,772 job-seekers registered with the Croatian Employment Service, which is 13,313 persons more than at the end of September.
According to previously released figures, the number of job-seekers registered at the Employment Service at the end of September was 259,459, up 1.1% on the month and 10.7% on the year.
