Prime Minister Kosor meets Cardinal Bozanic

ZAGREB, Aug 3 (Hina) - Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Friday met the Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip Bozanic, their first meeting since she took office at the start of July.

Kosor said her Cabinet was taking "painful, but necessary steps" to overcome the economic crisis, protecting the most vulnerable social groups.

Bozanic said that "a time of crisis is a time for solidarity, especially towards those most in need, a time for questioning life's priorities, and a chance for a new start." He expressed support to the Prime Minister and her Cabinet.
