Prime Minister says he visited Belgrade as government has to break down walls

"I went to Belgrade because it was high time we broke that wall of silence. I wasn't interested in how it came about and how it was created. My job and our job is to break down walls where we can, regardless of who built them. In the interest of peace and stability and in the business interest of our companies, we go where we can - east, west, north and south, it doesn't really matter - we talk with whom we can," Milanovic said at the start of a government session.
He and Serbian PM Ivica Dacic on Wednesday held their first working meeting in Belgrade since the formation of Serbia's new government last May, discussing outstanding issues such as refugees, the displaced, tenancy rights, war crimes trials, the border, the lawsuits Croatia and Serbia filed against each other at the International Court of Justice, the economy, and EU integration.
The meeting was held at Milanovic's initiative.
