Statement of the Republic of Croatia

Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Monday signed a statement attached to the arbitration agreement with Slovenia saying that nothing in the agreement would be understood as Croatia's consent to Slovenia's claim of its territorial contact with the high seas.

Kosor signed the statement after the signing of the arbitration agreement and before its ratification, in accordance with article 11 (1) of the arbitration agreement.

The arbitration agreement was signed by Kosor and Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor in Stockholm on November 4.
