Prime Minister Andrej Plenković participated today in the Second Annual Croatia Summit organized by The Economist, entitled "Unity, Stability and Innovation in a Transformative Europe", which brought together leaders, policymakers, and experts to explore how unity, stability, and innovation can guide Europe through this transformative era. In a conversation with Joan Hoey on the topic "How Croatia can contribute to stability and prosperity in the region", the Prime Minister addressed the Government's priorities in economic and social policy, regional cooperation, and defense and security.

Croatia and Luxembourg to strengthen economic cooperation especially in the IT sector, energy and defense industry
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković met today with the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Luc Frieden, who is on an official visit to Croatia. The two prime ministers discussed global issues, achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, further enlargement of the European Union, and the focus of the discussion on bilateral relations was the strengthening of economic cooperation, especially in the IT sector, energy, defense and financial industries. Prime Minister Frieden expressed Luxembourg's strong support for Croatia's membership in the OECD.

European and African leaders on energy and economic cooperation, combating illegal migration, peace and security
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković is participating in the 7th European Union-African Union Summit in Luanda, Angola, on the theme "Promoting Peace and Prosperity through Effective Multilateralism". The summit, which marks 25 years of EU-AU partnership, as well as 50 years of independence of Angola and several other African countries, is co-chaired by Angolan President João Lourenço and European Council President António Costa. The European Union is also represented by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and the African Union by African Union Commission President Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.

Economic cooperation, security, migration and EU enlargement focus of PM’s official visit to Italy
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković paid an official visit to the Italian Republic in Rome today, where he met with the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, the President of the House of Representatives Lorenzo Fontana, and the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Rijeka Gateway Terminal additional strong affirmation of Croatia on the international level
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković participated today at the ceremonial opening of the Rijeka Gateway Terminal, the most technologically advanced and fully automated container terminal in this part of Europe, which represents one of the most important logistics investments in the modern history of Croatia. The opening of the terminal marks the beginning of a new phase in the development of the Rijeka port system and Croatian logistics, opening up numerous economic opportunities. Prime Minister Plenković pointed out that 380 million euros has been invested in the terminal so far, emphasizing Rijeka's unique position in infrastructure for logistics, transport and energy.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković participated today in London at the Berlin Process Summit, an initiative launched in 2014 by then-German Chancellor Angela Merkel with the aim of strengthening regional cooperation, resolving a number of outstanding issues, improving transport and energy connectivity, and preparing for the European Union accession process. In a statement to the media, Prime Minister Plenković said that today's meeting demonstrated the high level of ambition of all our neighboring countries in Southeast Europe to continue the process of opening various chapters for membership in the European Union as soon as possible and to achieve positive dynamics at the institutional level as soon as possible.
