Croatia reports 69 new COVID-19 cases, 897 active in total

In the past 24 hours there have been 69 new cases of coronavirus in Croatia, bringing the number of active cases to 897,  the COVID-19 crisis management team informed on Monday.

A total of 85,997 people have been tested to date including 587 in the past 24 hours.

Ninety people are currently hospitalised, and of them five are on ventilators.

There have not been any new death in the past 24 hours, the response team said in a press release.

Since 25 February when the first case of the novel coronavirus was detected in Croatia, 3,220 have been diagnosed with this infection, with 113 fatalities and 2,210 people who have recovered.

There are currently 4,850 people in self-isolation due to their contacts with COVID positive patients.
