Croatia's construction work volume rebounds after 2-year drop

Construction work in Croatia increased by 1.2% in March 2015 compared to March 2014 according to seasonally adjusted data provided by the national statistical office (DZS) on Tuesday.

This is the first time the construction sector grew year on year since February 2013, when the growth was +3.4%

This March, construction volume increased 2.1% compared to February.

In the first quarter of 2015, the index of construction work volume decreased 1.2% compared to the corresponding period in 2014. However, this indicated a deceleration on contraction, given that the index was -4.7% in Q4 2014.
