Croatian woman flown from China to Zagreb, minister says no room for panic
The Croatian woman who was flown to Zagreb's airport on Sunday after she left Wuhan 12 days ago, shows no symptoms of possible infection by the novel coronavirus , and she will stay in quarantine for two more days until the expiry of the 14-day-long incubation period, Health Minister Vili Beros says.
He reiterated that there was no room for panic, and explained that the woman had no symptoms of the new communicable disease that was first detected in Wuhan.
The woman concerned, who departed from from Wuhan 12 days ago, was today welcomed at the airport by the minister, accompanied by epidemiologist Bernard Kaic and the head of Zagreb's crisis management department, Pavle Kalinic.
Another four Croatians who are supposed to be evacuated from Wuhan to Europe with assistance of France will be quarantined in southern France for 14 days upon their arrival in Europe.
There are no reported cases of coronavirus in Croatia, and the authorities reassure the general public that everything is under control.
