Kosor receives Knesset official

ZAGREB, Oct 13 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Wednesday met the chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Tzachi Hanegbi, for talks on Croatia-Israel relations.

Kosor and Hanegbi underlined the need to intensify economic cooperation in all areas, notably tourism, the statement said, adding that Croatia was recording an increase in the number of Israeli tourists.

Hanegbi said there was a lot of room for cooperation and that both countries must use it more effectively.

Kosor briefed him about Croatia's accession negotiations with the European Union, voicing confidence that it would join the Union very soon.

Hanegbi fully supported Croatia on its road to the EU.
